Time out with the Charity Film Children Cast
The BTS interview took place at St. Mary’s Convent in Bago, Myanmar, within the orphanage church compound. It was led by Destinee Yang, a member of the Mandalay Productions digital marketing team. Destinee gained some insights from the young talents of the Charity Film “Myittar” on their experience being at the orphanage compound.

Brief Film Synopsis
Set in the 1990s, Myittar aka (US title - Unbroken Ties) follows the poignant journey of Min, a grown Burmese man who arrives in America after winning a U.S. diversity visa. An orphan in search of identity and belonging, Min soon finds himself entangled in a web of buried secrets, unexpected betrayals, and life-changing connections. As he navigates the complexities of immigration, friendship, and sexuality, Unbroken Ties becomes a stirring tribute to the resilience of immigrants and LGBTQA individuals alike. The film sheds light on the universal struggles of orphans and marginalized communities, weaving a powerful tale of courage, self-discovery, and the unbreakable strength of the human spirit.
