Celebrate a special person or occasion with a gift in their honor. Donating to St. Jude in honor of someone means you’re giving to a charitable, nonprofit organization with that person in mind. When you make a donation, you can select a recipient to be notified of your gift, and we’ll send them a personalized e-card or mail card.

Can I deduct a donation I make in honor of someone on my taxes?
Donors who make a donation to St. Jude in honor of someone else may claim a charitable tax deduction for the donation to St. Jude to the full extent allowed by law. Be sure to consult with a tax professional for your situation.
Will my gift recipient see the amount I donated in their honor?
The gift recipient will not be able to see the amount you donated in their honor. When you make a donation to St. Jude in honor of someone, the amount of the gift only appears on the acknowledgment letter or tax receipt that is sent directly to you. Your gift recipient receives a separate letter or confirmation, if you choose to have one sent, that does not include the amount of the donation.
